Colloids established in 1967, a Tosaf group company, is a leading manufacturer of high-quality masterbatches-concentrates for use in the thermoplastics industry.

Colloids continues to grow significantly through acquisition and organic growth, built upon performance improvement with regard to both service and products. With a global reach, over 75% of Colloids' production is exported to a vast range of countries including those in Europe, NAFTA and AP regions. This is supported by our highly skilled R&D team who develop new, innovative and technical formulations through the use of our extensively equipped research laboratories.

We are looking for a Business Development Manager, based in proximity to a commuting hub (Houston, Atlanta, Chicago…), who is capable of identifying new targets and opportunities while developing new and existing accounts.

We are seeking an individual who has a strong understanding of the Chemical, Engineering Compounding, High-Pressure Pipe global specifications, Extrusion (sheet, pipe, etc.), injection and blow molding, and processing markets for Specialty and Technical Masterbatch/Concentrates throughout North America.

HOW WILL YOU DO IT?

•Develop market penetration within Colloids strategic key nominated markets
•Track trends of the market and gather intelligence concerning customers
•Seek new customers/opportunities for business growth
•Develop and implement a pricing structure to win profitable business
•Assist the development of new products to market realization
•Develop multi-layer relationships with different departments as needed
•Meet sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements
•Attend meetings, events, training conferences – to keep up with latest developments

YOUR EXPERTISE

You have 3 years+ experience in the engineering thermoplastic masterbatch concentrates sector, with outstanding relationship management skills. In particular, strong experience of major account responsibility within the global petrochemical companies.

You possess a proven history of successfully deploying sales projects and very strong communication and negotiation ability.

You are goal-oriented, self-motivated, consistently acting with a sense of urgency and aiming to close the deal. You have proven ability to work remotely in a cross-cultural environment.

Nice to have: Knowledge of the Spanish language and degree in Chemistry or equivalent.
